This car is a project that I never got around to finishing. I have had the car for 27 years and it has been garaged for the entire period. There is no rust in the shell at all and the floors. boot floor and Y frames are original and solid. The floors and boot floor were coated in noise deadening coating a long time ago. It did have the standard early Holden rust in the dog legs. lower rear quarters and window frames but about 15 years ago I stripped the entire shell back to bare metal and had all these areas repaired professionally in metal. The white paint you on the shell  has been there for 15 years and no rust or bubbles have developed which shows the quality of the repairs. I did hit the passenger side rear wheel arch lightly on a wall many years ago and coated it in paint to stop any rusting. The doors were collected along the way and are straight but I don't know what is underneath the paint however they have been on the car for over 13 years and haven't bubbled or rusted. The GST guards are pretty average and were off my first car I bought many moons ago but are just bare metal with a dust coat so what you see is what you get. The bonnet is perfect. The boot lid is rust free but has a few small dings on top. The front and rear bumper bars are straight but the front needs re-chroming. It has Premier bucket seats and rear seat and centre console.

It comes with boxes of parts and spares which has most remaining bits to finish off.

The 308 is out of a VK Commodore and has perfectly good bores with plenty of fresh hone marks. It had been rebuilt at some stage and hadn't done a whole lot of KM's when I got it but was missing the heads. The heads the come with it are pre pollution HQ heads but are missing the rocker gear (I couldn't find them). It comes with a 4 barrel manifold. 600 Holley and distributor. This motor could easily just be pulled down. cleaned. gaskets replaced. rockers. push rods. nbsp;freshen up the heads and go.

The V8 4 speed needs rebuilding but its all there.

It has a disk brake front end and booster and steering works for easy moving.

The reason I never finished it was that I switched to Chrysler's and have completed many other projects in between. The HT just sat in the corner of the shed because I thought that one day I would get around to it but now its time for someone else to complete it. Checking out some of the other comparable projects up for sale you would be up for significant panel and rust repair costs before you got any where near the state of this car and not many come with mint floor pans and rust free chassis. Then all the time spent manually cleaning the under body. bare metalling. suspension and time consuming bits that many people don't realise is required until they build a project from scratch.

Cheers.
