1974 GMC Sierra 2500 K2500 for sale
Current customer rating:
This third-generation K-Series pickup had been treated to a quality frame-on restoration with a solid attention to detail. This is a long-box wideside with a steel bed floor in good condition. The dual tank option brings fuel capacity to 40 gallons and both tanks work.
The Sierra package was the was one of the luxury trim levels for 1974. The front disc /rear drum brakes stop straight and work well. A spring-over lift kit looks great with a good ride that's not overly rough. Conventional four-wheel drive with manual locking hubs and a two-speed dual range functions fine. The carpet and seat cover are in great shape. Power windows and locks were a luxury item when this cool old truck was built. Today they still work. but the windows move a little slow. A super-clean engine bay surrounds a recently rebuilt small-block 350 i engine that starts right away and runs perfectly. The 3-speed auto pulls smoothly. shifts cleanly and the gearing is set up to pull strong down low. This a solid truck.
