1935 Ford Model Y 4. 0 V 8 Rat Rod TAX & MOT EXEMPT
With V 5 and 6 digit plate . this car is pre tax and mot . currently sorn but it was taxed and insured so soon as its ready you can drive it. The car only costs me £63 a year to insure that is it

The body is a 1935 Ford Y with suicide doors that i have cut 2" out the roof and 2" out the floor to get the body sitting nice . i have all the original parts and steel i have cut out if you go back . have all the glass apart from the passenger side that has been cracked but i still have it you can make a template out of . i was not going to run glass in the car and just wear glasses . after driving a Arial atom daily for 3 years i find this the best way to wake yourself up .

The chassis is custom made with box floor 80 x 40 mm integrating a Lexus rear sub-frame into the chassis with with a 48 mm roll cage that takes the pick ups for the fully adjustable rear coilover suspension the front is custom front leaf on L 200 axle. The chassis is very easy to modify to take bigger engine that is why I have left it uncut as i have had three different engines for it already . i do have a friend with a ford v 8 that i could get for you at extra cost .

Running a 300 bhp Toyota 1 UZ-FE V 8 taken from a LS 400 late model non vvti with only 90 k. this engine is very strong can be turboed to over 1000 bhp . also the rear diff is good alot of power this is why i chose to go this route iv always wanted a car with 1000 bhp and this was going to be it. Steering is on a steering box and is all mocked up works well gets full lock .

The car is on Centerline 15"x 10 wearing a 30 x 12. 5 Goodyears on the rear at the min used for mocking it up they are drag slick but id go down to maybe 29 x 11 or 10 s . and i have x 4 7 x 16 5 x 114. 5 wheels with good tyres on for drifting the fronts are 14" with a transit stud pattern.

All the wiring is labled. and i have all the wiring diagrams . even a step by step guide on how to get the engine running in any car . it only needs 5 wires to start and 15 to drive with the auto box ( 5 if using manual ) I have 99% of the parts to finish and lots of bits from the original car.

Other parts that will be included : original bonnet . original chassis . original bulkhead . original steering wheel . all the glass . headlights original and new ones . fuel tank . door insides with winders. 2 x rads original and Lexus . seats front and rear bench . exhausts . model y suspension . original rear wings . brand new tilton brake master cylinder . power steering box . propeller shaft . fans . horns . dash board . gauges (original Y. Lexus ones and new ones) all . AP 4 pot front brakes . all looms from Lexus ( not really needed but kept for spare connectors) . ecu and all the fuse boards. a set of Lexus alloys (was going to use for drifting) also have a BMW ZF 5 speed gearbox(very strong) i was maybe going to use that can can go with the car. i even have a SIP welding plant that can be included .

As i said all the bits are there they just need a bit of a play with and fitting and personal preference this will make a really good project . i don't think there is anyone in the UK building hot rods like this most i see are reliant scimitar front axeled with a rover v 8 witch i think are very ugly and very slow . with a bit of work you could have one the fastest and best handling street rods in the UK by a long way . Its been built to be strong street . drag and drift car and with a few weeks work you could be on the road .

I don't think it will cost anymore than around £500 to finish maybe less its just time .

I am looking to sell can can do any deal on the car but not really looking for silly offers on it as I know what other cars are out there and just trying to find a car with a v 8 and suicide doors under 10 k is very rare . like my other car the money and fabrication time i have in this car is about double what the car is advertised for. but as i have two other projects on the go I'm putting this and my 1995 Nissan 200 sx S 14 drift / street car up for sale to get my other car finished. see other auctions for the S 14 .
