The E 30 3-series was penned by Claus Luthe in 1978. the designer of the NSU Ro 80.
The E 30 models were powered by a range of four-cylinder and straight-six engines.
It was produced as four- and two-door saloons. two-door convertible. and a five-door estate (marketed as the "touring”).
This particular series 2 E 30. though only a 316 i. is a late model benefitting from the technical advancements seen through the evolution of the 3 series range including Motronic fuel injection giving the car over 100 bhp. making it a lively performer. Featuring perfect. riginal BMW alloys and with fresh paint. this car really is ‘out of the box'. Having covered only 34000 miles with only one previous owner. the most recent having owned the car for 24 years. (rare indeed for any E 30) the car looks and performs like new.
