1924 Maxwell Touring 25-C - Beautiful RED Convertible

This stunning Red 1924 MAXWELL TOURING CAR is a real eye catcher. It is in very good condition and runs great. The body is red and in very nice shape and the fenders are black. Spare tire is mounted on the back. The engine is a 4 cylinder and it has a 3 speed transmission with the stick shift on the floor. All tires are white walls with good tread life. One tail light lens has a crack. There is a slight worn spot ( about 1/2" x 2" ) in the paint where the front door rubbed against the panel at the jam when someone fully opened it. The new wood frame top is operated manually and has no issues. The canvas top is in mint condition with no rips or tears. The steering wheel is wood. which I believe to be original. (not sure). but is in excellent condition. The wood floor boards are in excellent condition. There is a removable hand crank on the front of the car for hand cranking the engine or you can use the electric key start. The front window opens like a louvre for air the old fashioned way. I am not sure if the mileage is original. Both the front and back seats are in mint condition with no rips or tears. New 6 volt battery. There was an after market toggle switch added for the fuel pump. it is mounted on the instrument panel. This car was manufactured around the time of the Walter Chrysler era and the Model 25-C was produced from 1913 until 1924. This antique vehicle will show beautifully in a car show. a show stopper on the road. and a great parade car. A real fun car to own.
