Up for auction is a 1990 Toyota Celica GT 4. the car is owned by my son who has moved Interstate. The GT 4 is an import (well they're all made in Japan!). Australian complied and previously registered in Victoria. (see label photo).
The GT 4 is very original. hard to find now. most have been modified. Unoriginal parts are steering wheel. wheels. blow off valve and pod filter. All easily returned to stock if needed. Battery has been re located to boot to accomodate pod filter. I have the original snorkel.
Has the legendary 3 SGTE 2 litre Turbo engine. Starts easily and runs strong. Compression tested psi on all cylinders. Has a water pump leak ($85 replacement). blow off valve needs to be changed for rwc ($75). Clutch is light. gearbox shifts smoothly. all wheel drive operational. no strange noises. Drives tight. new oil and filter.
Cosmetically paintwork has seen better days. Some fade and crazing. clear coat lifting in some places. We were going to use it as a track car so it was not our top priority. Interior is very good. dash uncracked. seats undamaged. rear hatch tail light cover has a crack. rest is clean.

Original un-butchered GT 4's are hard to find-don't. miss this one. I will consider a trade/cash deal on a WHITE GT 4 . or another Jap. 4 cylinder. I can assist with Interstate freight.
