‘Moggie' is a stunning looking 1967 Morris Minor Tourer in Maroon B with a contrasting tan hood. red vinyl seating and matching carpeting fitted throughout.

 

Over the years she has been substantially renovated by the Charles Ware Morris Minor Centre in Bath. with a renewed chassis. much new bodywork. an engine rebuild and reconditioned gearbox; the hood and carpets are also new and she is converted to run on unleaded petrol.

 

The car is also fitted with front and rear inertia reel seat belts for friends and family to share in the joy of local jaunts or touring further afield.

 

I have kept the interior largely original because she is a vintage car and I wanted to keep the sense of history within her while renewing her structurally and mechanically to give her a new lease of life and ensure reliability for everyday use as well as journeying further afield.

 

Throughout my ownership she has been garaged to protect her from the elements and doesn't normally venture out when the weather is rough. and has been routinely serviced by folk who ‘worked on these cars when they were new!' Road Tax is Free. and she comes with a freshly minted MOT.

 

She has proved to be ever-reliable and equally at home in the city or countryside. She is the perfect motoring companion.

 

She was bought and has been restored as a long-life car to journey with me through my own lifetime and beyond; she is reluctantly for sale now only due to buying a house and the need to maximise the deposit for our new home. Hence. Moggie is leaving for the big. wide world.
