Super rare Classic Austin 1800 Mk. III for sale. (ADO 17). Affectionately known as the "Landcrab".   (Only 80 examples remaining).
This particularly example has recently been revived and re-commissioned from a 6 year dry storage slumber!
Comes finished in a lovely Harvest Gold with a contrasting Navy interior. This appears to be quite a low mileage example and is showing just 66. 00 miles which appears to be genuine. although I cannot guarantee this.
As stated. the car has been recently re-commissioned and now has an advisory free Mot until September 2017.
A number of items were addressed to gain the finished result you are viewing here: The car has had a full respray which has been completed to a reasonable standard. although it's by no means a concours finish. The interior has been replaced with a set of good seats and door cards which are very good. The underside which is solid has been treated with Schutz. so no further worries about rust. although it was minimal before the work began.
It starts well and drives like it should.
Basically. the car now looks very presentable and is very usable. Please do bear in mind though that the vehicle is now 41 years old and is not a concours example.
The car will also benefit from being tax free and very reasonable priced classic insurance.
To sum up. this is a lovely old vehicle and quite a rare classic car that comes in very good presentable condition for it's age. The car can be used and showed as is or if you are a purist/enthusiast. this would be a great example to further restore and improve.
