Exterior: Paint & bodywork are stunning! 2-stage paint. All panels line up perfectly. All gaps are equal are perfect. Fit & finish is excellent. Proper factory grease pencil marks throughout. Glass is excellent. Poverty caps & Redline bias-ply tires with color coded wheels.
All lines. hoses. nbsp;suspension: HD shocks. HD springs (#621 code). exhaust. brakes. fuel tank & lines are all brand new and NOS parts used throughout. All brightwork (trim. light housings. hubcaps. lenses. emblems are all NOS. Both bumpers are originals and were triple chrome plated to mirror-like perfection. High capacity Radiator recored and restored. Handling Kit (#612 code) with 20:1 quick ratio steering & extra from control HD shocks.
Powertrain Info: The numbers matching engine was rebuilt to better than factory specs & tolerances. 10. 75:1 compression. Numbers matching Muncie M20 - 4 speed manual transmission (with Hurst linkage & shifter) was rebuilt with new HD clutch & pressure plate. Numbers matching rear differential is a Safe-T-Track unit (#701 code) and was rebuilt. All carbs are rebuilt and synchronized.
Interior is fully restored with new seat covers. seat foam. carpet. headliner. door panels and trim. Rally Gauge package (#452 code) with tachometer. All gauges function and are immaculate. Rare push button radio (#392 code) and Separa Phonoic rear speaker with reverb control (#474 code). Rare custom sport steering wheel (#524 code). Soft-Ray glass all windows (#531 code)
Underbody and wheel wells are as clean as the top!
No shortcuts were taken in restoring this incredible 64 GTO to the finest in the country! This car was lovingly and painstakingly restored and owned by one of the worlds largest & finest car collectors.
This rare GTO is documented with original owners manual. dealer jacket and Protect-o-plate and window sticker. Originally a Texas car.
The car was a feature and centerfold car for Muscle Car Mag. The article explains the painstaking restoration process where the owner searched for years to obtain correct NOS parts. You wont find a nicer 64 GTO anywhere in the world.
