This car was a 4 year. body off frame restoration.  The frame has been boxed and the back springs are new with restoration from Eaton Spring Co. and front end with springs is from Kugel Front Ends of California.  The rear end is a 9" Ford.  The body is all steal and has no nicks or dings and has been painted with enamel paint and is a 70's Ford color of Pastel French Vanilla.  Later on in late 90's now named Gainesville Florida Beige. should you ever need to match it.  The roof was filled with a roof from an Aries K car with the grooves in it that really sets the car off.  It has a slight rake to it with 14 inch tires on the front and 15 inch tires on the back.  The wheels are from Vintique and they are spoke and have a Baby Moon hub cap.  The exterior mirrors are made of brushed aluminum and at higher speeds will need to be readjusted from time to time.  The cowl lights in the fenders that were original to the car were removed and cowl lights from a late 20's early 30's Hudson were attached to the cowl of the car.  The wipers and the interior rear view mirror are also brushed aluminum.  There is some slight customization to the car that you may not even notice for example the modern push to open gas door in the back and a third brake light.  A pair of detailed Nash tail lights were added.  Originally there was only one.  The side mount covers were also custom made for the car.  The trunk is original to the car and has been lined with carpet to finish it off.  The trunk does lock with a key for safety.  Speaking of locks…  the door handles are all original to the car and the car locks on the passenger side. care to not lock that door from the inside is important!  The rear doors are suicide doors so should not be opened while car is moving!

The interior was custom done by Boss Interiors of Evansville Iowa and is a sight to behold.  The materials used is a high tech product called Ultra Leather and in many ways is superior to leather in that is does not absorb heat or get hot. it does not fade and it is easy to clean up.  The hood liner has the look of pleating from front to back and the doors have a customed design which you can view in the pictures.  The seats are all original to the car and were restored with the installation of lumbar support for extra comfort.  The carpet has all been covered so is in great condition.  There are cup holders and will hold a pop bottle.  There is a very modern Kenwood stereo that was just installed last summer and the overhead console has easy access for whomever is working on the equipment. it is on piano hinges and is also covered in the ultra leather.  The dash is by Dakota Digital and was custom mounted in the original housing.  All the dash ornamentation was originally nickel plated brass which we took off the nickel and now is brass and is seen also in the pictures.  All the knobs are customed hand machined specific for this car.  The car has 11 interior lights and also has a secret power kill switch which will keep it safe from theft if you need to park it outside on trips.  The steering column is a Cadillac steering column with telescoping adjustable tilt wheel.  The steering wheel is from LaCara from Colorado Customs in Denver. Co.  No expense has been spared on this car.  It has been a very comfortable and reliable car for trips to out of state car shows.   It has never been trailored.  (In Minnesota we put boats on trailers. not cars. )  Made with quality and pride by the Broken Bones Rod Shop.  It has passed many National Street Rod Association Safety Team inspections along with Minnesota Street Rod Association Safety Team inspections.  We have also collected many trophies and awards with this car.
