1968 Dodge Coronet 440 Superbee Clone Automatic running a 318
For those of you that don't know the 440 is the Model not the engine size before any one starts trying to be cleaver about why iv put 440 on the advert .
This car was brought into the UK in 2012 it had a very solid body and chassis when it arrived in the uk but the paint work was sun burnt so the new owner gave this lovely looking classic Mopar a nice fresh coat of paint with a new black bumble bee stripe then sat it on a nice set of Magnum 500 wheels with fat Cooper Cobra G/T radial Tyres .
The small block 318 engine sounds great it has a really nice note to it and runs strong. nd Very economical to run . All round the engine bay looks clean and tidy for its age .
The Owner used the car as a rolling project so he could start getting involved straight away into the UK American car seen he told me he's covered nearly 5 k a year going round shows in the uk . he managed to get it painted and put right some Mechanical issues . erviced the car put new water pipes on and a few other odds and sods but never got around to replacing the interior but did manage to put a Brand new headlining in it .
The front seats still look respectable but the rear bench seat is very warn if you put a seat cover over the seat it would look a lot better .
If you want a mint interior you will need to buy a complete interior set that is still available to buy of the shelf at a sensible price .
The car has a MOT and Free to Tax i love that FREE BIT .
So there you have it a running driving MOPAR that you can use and tinker around with as you use it.
I Gave the old girl a run out the other day It drove like a 1968 Dodge should and all i got was thumbs up and people saying sweet ride .
