This is an amazing example of the 1980 Pontiac Trans Am Indy Turbo Pace Car. This can be considered a time capsule as a result of its amazing and original condition. It literally feels and drives like a new car. It is a very authentic Trans Am with approximately 26. 00  actual miles.  Original Paint. decals. interior and engine with no modifications.  It has an extremely clean undercarriage and due to its proper dry storage all of its life there is no rust and the interior still smells like new. Mechanically sound in everyway with working electronics and cold A/C.  All weather seals are fresh and a very solid body with amazingly straight lines. The original turbine wheels remain in amazing condition and they are mounted with beefy BF Goodrich tires. It is nice to know that the electric antennae works along with the Turbo indicator lights and factory clock. Very clean engine bay and properly serviced. The Turbo was rebuilt by the previous owner and performs flawlessly. There is so much to be said about this Trans Am but it can be summarized by proudly saying that is has won Best of Show in several local car shows and was recently awarded Best of Show in the South Florida Auto Show Memory Lane. This is a low mile. solid car that is meant to be enjoyed and displayed. It remains extremely tight and for those of you who know the sagging reputation of theses cars. there is no sagging or strange noises with this one. The Trans Am was part of the Trans Am Museum collection owned by Rick McLaughlin.  Equipped with the factory radio with the boost option. nbsp;and has the factory exclusive Pace Car options that include the AM FM Cassette with red radio and dash read out display.  The only non-original items are the tires and mufflers. Please let me know if you have any questions and I encourage an inspection of the Trans Am to really appreciate the condition of this historic icon. This is a privately owned vehicle and the photos were taken during its display at the South Florida Auto Show.
