You are bidding on Beautifully Restored 1947 Lincoln Continental. It has been said this model deserves to stand among the finest automotive designs of the twentieth century.

1 of only 831 built in 1947. it's been referred as one of the finest examples of the automobile art.

And here is your opportunity to own one of these rare. hard-to-come-by vehicles in STUNNING condition~in need of nothing else but a new owner.

As this is a custom restoration not all components are stock.

However. everything has been rebuilt. replaced. or restored to immaculate condition.

This award winning beauty is also reliable and a dream to drive. Luxurious and plush Leather?? and Cloth interior almost demand that you spend some time in the driver's seat. You will not be disappointed. craftsmanship is SUPERB!! A true Showpiece!!

The vehicle was completely disassembled for restoration. Body and Frame were Sandblasted. Frame was completely Undercoated and Body work

and Paint Followed. All new Rubber Seals. Weather Stripping and Welting was installed. A new wiring harness was installed. Suspension was inspected and repaired where necessary. reassembled and reinstalled. Drive Shaft was replaced. Transmission was inspected and serviced. All new Clutch. Pressure Plate and Throw-Out Bearing was installed. Overdrive assembly was inspected and all switches. relays and solenoids were replaced. The original motor was a V-12 which was replaced with a Flat Head V-8. The Original matching number V-12 assembly is available with purchase. The V 12 motor has been powder coated and mounted on an engine stand and it is not known as to the rebuild-ability. The V 8 motor was serviced and external gaskets such as oil pan and Oil Seals replaced. Carburetor was rebuilt and all accessory Items. Generator. Starter. etc. were serviced or replaced. Power Windows are Power-Hydraulic were serviced and rebuilt and are all in working order. Electrical Relays. Switches. Solenoids have been replaced. Original 6 Volt System. Additional Items replaced include Fuel Pump. Water Pump. Hoses. Belts. Plugs. etc. It can probably be said that if it turns. clicks. spins or has any mechanical activity it has been checked. serviced and replaced or repaired to working condition. One exception is the radio????? New Power Antenna installed. All Gauges. Switches. Lights. orns. Signals etc. are in working order.

The Interior has been completely restored. Seats are upholstered in Grey Leather and Cloth and look fantastic. Dash has been completely disassembled and each item checked for proper working order. Everything is original/restored condition. Carpets Door Panels. Interior upholstery. Headliner is in excellent condition.

Driven very little since restoration and always Garaged this Lincoln is Immaculate.

Paint is nearly Flawless. Beautiful Black Base Coat. Clear Coat??? No Rust. Scratches. Dings or Dents and no Swirls. All Chrome is new/excellent condition. Bumpers and Grill have been re-chromed to perfection. Look at Photos to see the attention to detail. Engine. Trunk and Undercarriage is excellent condition . The only thing left to do is buy it. drive it and show it.

This is a real Showpiece.

The Odometer reading is 31. 55. original mileage is unknown. Title is California Clear and Clean. Ready to Drive. This 47 starts easily and is a pleasure to drive.
