This little Bug has been restored to a good driver condition and shows well anywhere it goes. and can be driven just about anywhere as well. It has a look that is unmistakable Vintage VW with its wooden roof rack and chrome accessories all around.       The body on the car is straight as an arrow and the pan is very solid. The paint on the car is finished in an eye popping Silver Metallic which looks very nice. I would describe the overall paint as driver quality with a few expected flaws from a paint job that is several years old. The pan is overall solid with two small patch panels very professionally done underneath. The car is riding on nice 15" VW smoothie wheels and has really cool Firestone Whitewalls.

      The interior is also in brand new shape all around. The seats are all in very good condition and look perfect. which shows the quality of materials used in this car. The carpets are all very nice are not worn or damaged. The dash is nicely painted to match the exterior really set the interior off. All gages and controls function as they should. All lights. gauges switches. and accessories work as they should. The bonnet is nicely carpeted with a newly restored gas tank. and matching spare tire.

      Mechanically. this VW runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. A lot of time and money was spent under the hood of this little beetle. The motor is a fresh rebuild with less than 5. 00 miles on it. It was definitely built to show and go! The clutch and transmission were also overhauled at the time of the engine build so they are reliable as well. I was told total cost of the engine build alone is well over $2000. As I said it is dated as a 1970 1600cc Single Port. Dual Relief. This is a rare block. and a favorite among builders for its strength and ability to add oil coolers.

      All in all. this is truly one of the coolest Beetles on the road today. Its early vintage sets it apart from all of the others. This car can not be duplicated for my asking price. At Close of Auction
