My 1984 Citroen 2 CV Charleston in Burgundy and Black had a total. ground up. rebuild 3 years ago. based on a Merv Hannam galvanised chassis (the best. ). I have a full list of parts and the work done. but they include. full engine and mechanics rebuild. new barrels and pistons. 123 electronic ignition. suspension. brakes etc. . new chassis. new floor. I have owned it since the rebuild and it has always been garaged. when not being driven. It sailed through the MOT this week with no advisories.
It is in excellent condition. is extremely reliable. drives very well. and is great fun. However it is a 2 CV. it is 30 years old. and must go to someone who appreciates the marque and realises that it will always need love and attention!!
One of the very few remaining. affordable classics.
