TURNER

This is a Turner 950 "S" 1958 Lhd . model.

Built in Wolverhampton by Jack Turner Cars. A Lhd car with original 948 "A" series twin carb engine fitted. I am told these engines were specially tuned at the factory. They have tubular construction chassis with fibreglass body & had a reputation for good handling & were regularly used in competion. This car is chassis 30/189 & 67 examples of this model are known to survive worldwide. Chassis 30/189 is the 34 th of this model on the Turner register & the 43 rd car on the whole register. It was last owned by a gent named Rick Spires who bought it in Virginia USA in 1985 & it has been in storage since then. This info is dated Oct. 2012.

The car is mainly complete but is missing a seat . Grill & radiator.

The chassis is good & the the steel work in the boot is mainly solid but it requires work on steel floor pans. Bodywork is generally not bad . but as you can see requires work on the N/S wing & front nose.
