1996 Formula Classic racing car. this car has an unbelievable spec. and would cost circa £100 k to build today. It was dreampt up by a consortium of enthusiasts to race as a one make race series back in 1996 in the style of a 1950's formula 1 car. but due to disagreements amongst the entrants never got off the ground the project was moth balled and all the cars were put in storage. We have just acquired 18 of the cars with a view to selling them on an individual basis or as a complete package. it would be great to see them on the track again. These cars have only been run for 3 to 4 hours each and as a result the condition is excellent. Something different on the track day scene?
The brief spec is:
Chassis Built by Arch Motors. who are world renowned for F 1 chassis manufacture. the chassis are great quality and really strong.

Engine Millington Diamond Series 1 alloy block 2. 5 litre with Cosworth YB head. twin 50 weber Carbs. dry sump kit. setrab oil coiler. Facet fuel pump prodcuing around 280 BHP. New price of this engine today would be around £20 k plus VAT. Again only doen 3 to 4 hours use.

Transmission Borg Warner LT 5 Cosworth gearbox. uprated 5. 1 Cosworth Diff. Tilton rear diff oil pump and Setrab rear mounted oil cooler.

Other Bits ATL bag tank in alloy protection tank AP Racing Formula 3000 4 pot calipers and discs. AP Racing Historic spec 2 pot rear calipers. Tilton pedal box with AP Racing master cylinders. fully braided hoses Stack Dash Race Display with fuel pressure. oil pressure. oil temp and water temp readings Plumbed in fire extinguisher system Sparco race seat with Willians race harness.

We also have a large amount of spares including chassis. gearboxes. driveshafts. body panels etc.

I would consider breaking the cars for the engines. gearboxes etc. however seems a shame to do so. Again the dream would be to see them on the track again. so may be interested in a venture of some sort going forward.
