A frame on restoration has been performed at a professional shop and you are welcome to view the vehicle anytime. Here's her history as I am told:
This is a one owner car bought in California and then re-registered in Pennsylvania when the owner left the Navy. moving east. I am told only 1260 odd cars were built in this configuration in 1969 of which the Historical society claimed in 2010 that only 850 were documented to still be around. The odometer shows 68076. X which based on the alignment of the numbers leads us to believe this is original mileage and not turned over.


The vehicle is a numbers matching original 1969 convertible 442. equipped with the 400. barrel. ual exhaust. loor mounted shift 3-speed Saginaw stnd transmission. The motor. transmission. suspension. rear end are untouched as the vehicle runs strong and shifts fine. The dash. gauges. radio. knobs. steering wheel (tilt equipped). lettering are all the original and untouched. The buckets and back bench are the original frames and interiors with new covers. We installed new door and rear boot covers. carpet is new. convertible top is new. works. but is the original frame and motor. Floor and trunk pan are original with some patchwork done. Fenders. doors. quarters are original but restored where needed. trunk is original. hood is original metal. not aftermarket fiberglass. Wheels are original. tires are new including the spare rim and tire. Bumpers are new. originals were too far gone. Side view and rear view mirror are originals. If it didn't need to be replaced it was restored and used for authenticity! The paint is new but is the same style as used in 1969 and the original color scheme. ed body. white interior. black top. Every attention to detail and originality was performed.
