November 1977 Lancia Beta Montecarlo Coupe 2. 0 twin cam with 5 speed manual gearbox. Rossa Corsa with Crema Leather. Twin Webber 44 DCNF's. riginal factory alloy wheels and twin headlight conversion. Electric windows and removable sunroof.
Subject to a full body strip down and rebuild in 2006 coming second in class in its first show outing after completion. Bodywork included the fitting of new floor pans. ront wings. oor skins/bottoms. ear arches and sills. The car was given a complete repaint whilst striped to its shell which included the underside which still remains in body colour. The suspension and braking system taken apart. ebuilt and polybushed. A photo record comes with the car.
Engine rebuilt with new . 4 mm oversized pistons. ew main and big end bearings. ew gaskets and oil seals. prated head gasket and balanced and tuned twin 44's. Tubular manifolds. eat wrapped sports exhaust and fabricated heat shield. New distributor with Lumenition sports pack electronic ignition.
The induction noise and exhaust note that this car produces is intoxicating and makes you want to keep on driving.
New noseband just fitted and painted in correct graphite grey with body decals to match. The car is taxed until 31/11/13 and MOT until 22/05/14. Mileage is 70630 and is understood to be correct. 6 previous owners the last having owned it for 14 years.
There are only approximately 200 Montecarlo's registered for the road in the UK making this a rare car and in this restored condition possibly one of the best. A great example of 1970's automotive design and one of the most rewarding and fun classics to drive you will ever own.
