196 AMC I 6 motor - long-stroke stump puller -- direct bolt-on to stock CJ drive train - very easy to work on -- parts are available -- did a ring job. valve grind. new rod bearings. new head bolts. gaskets. and seals. rebuilt 1908 Holley carb. electric fuel pump. new battery. added fuse box. starter relay and circuit breakers. new engine mounts (added torque bar). new exhaust pipes and muffler.

Transmission -- T 90 3 speed
Transfer case - Dana 18 -- rebuilt -- replaced intermediate gear roller bearings with cup roller bearings. input/output seals. Warn overdrive
Axles -- Dana 27 front Dana 44 back (5. 38 ratio limited slip) -- new wheel bearings. U joints
Brakes -- new 11 inch drums all around. new lines. new e-brake pads. rebuilt master cylinder (old style single reservoir)
Wheels and Suspension -- 30 X 9. 5 R 15 tires. 15 inch rimes. new shackles with zerks. 1. 5 inch lift. 7 leaf front. 9 leaf back. new shocks
Steering -- stock (more or less) arrangement - new tie rods and ends. new bell crank shaft. king pin bearings. added damper. old Hudson Gemmer III steering gear (poor man's power steering)
