1969 Porsche 912 for sale

This 912 has had a limited number of previous owners with the current owner since April. 1985 and it has been driven a total of approximately 4. 00 miles during this time and it has been driven a total of 136. xx miles.
The Kardex indicates that original color was golden green. a very unique and ultra rare color. and was equipped with the following factory options: black vinyl interior 5 Speed transmission. leather cover steering wheel 911 S trim on both bumpers and the rocker panels antenna forged alloy wheels. 5 ½ X 15 radio loudspeaker all glass tinted. and front sway bar.
The overall condition of the car is very good to excellent and it has been maintained by Pat Moyle and Storz Garage in Denver. Colorado.
The car drives and performs very well.
Most importantly there is virtually no rust anywhere on the car with the exception of a pencil size hole at the rear of the driver's threshold.
The floor pan and undercarriage are in excellent condition and there is no evidence of any significant collision damage.
There are no service or repair invoices available earlier than 1995.
Mechanical Condition
the engine was replaced with a period correct 912 engine. presently #4095863 vs. the original #4096549.
The engine was rebuilt by Pat Moyle in 1995. at 132. 39 miles and the car has been driven less than 4. 00 miles since.
A recent leak down showed 5% on all cylinders.
The transmission is the original. #5193393. and shifts properly.
The front strut inserts were recently replaced with original Koni type and the brakes and suspension was checked and found to be in good condition and a new battery was installed. The gauges and electrical systems function properly.
There is a very minor oil leak at the engine.
A new gas tank was installed at some point in the past twenty years.
Several repairs and maintenance services were completed in July 2016: carb fuel leak replace diaphragms clean accelerator pump nozzles adjust clutch tune up-points and plugs and oil filter and oil change lubrication.
Body and Paint Condition
There is evidence that the original golden green paint was repainted the paint is in good to very good condition with only minor chips and imperfections.
The floor pan. rockers and front suspension pan appear to be original and are rust free.
New hood struts were also recently installed.
Interior and Other Considerations
The black vinyl interior. including seats and vinyl door panels and rear seating. carpets. headliner. and floor mats are in very good to excellent condition and appear to be mostly original. . The wheels are original Fuchs type and are dated 1971. however. the tires are very old and should be replaced.
The original factory radio operates properly.
A jack and partial factory tool kit are included.
