Here she is. this is a 1976 Jeep CJ 5. This Jeep was used for just weekend cruises. although equipped and capable. this CJ 5 did not spend it's weekends getting beat up rock climbing or 4 wheeling. It does have a winch and the controller. and a heavy duty jack. aftermarket lights at front bumper and hood. but that was for show. Body is very solid. no signs of surface rust. paint is average to above average. not a show piece but very respectable. It has 2 new front seats (not seat covers. that is about a $500 difference in cost). Rear seat is in good condition with no tears. Floor boards are solid. no rust. Has radio but speakers could be updated. Full roll bar. It has fairly new BF Goodrich Tires with polished aluminum American Racing Wheels. Blinkers. brake lights. headlights. tail lights are all in good working condition. It has a brand new bikini top. still in the box. the one pictured has a slight tear. This is the only top that goes with this Jeep. as I said it was a weekend cruiser. stayed in the garage.

Comes with a good spare tire and wheel. rear bumper has a Reese hitch.

The motor is a perfect combination with a Jeep CJ 5. it has a very healthy rebuilt V 8 305. This gives this Jeep a great sound with the glass packs and power. but not over the top. It has a 3 speed manual transmission to compliment the V 8 in great working condition.

Before this Jeep was listed it was taken to a certified mechanic to be completely gone over. I have attached the invoice that is dated 9/12/16. EVERYTHING listed in the recommendations was completed and more. The oil pan had a very slow drip. had the oil pan replaced. then had the motor completely rebuilt. new pistons. rings connecting rods. crankshaft and all bearings. cylinder heads. and camshaft. Differential axle bearings and seals all removed and replaced. transfer case was completely rebuilt. and MORE. This Jeep is very solid and had $4. 51. 47 (invoice attached and winning bidder can call mechanic shop or go by to confirm that this Jeep has been thoroughly gone over) invested in it mechanically two weeks ago. runs and stops perfectly. I am 50 years old and decided it was time for a boat. Clear Title in hand. Jeep is located in Killeen Texas. I will consider buy it now offers. but I will not disclose the reserve. Jeep will be listed locally this weekend. therefore I could end the auction early.
