Vehicle description

Fully restored over a period of 11 years by the previous owner and since then the car has covered less then 2000 miles. In summary. the restoration involved a strip down of all interior and exterior components. a complete overhaul and painting of all running gear and a re-spray of the body shell in British racing green. The engine bay is nicely detailed and has been coated in stone chip as has the inside of the boot and the body shell has been treated with waxoyl throughout. I have inspected the car on a ramp. the underside has also been painted and everything is good order (photos are available on request). The bodywork has been fitted with round wheel arches and finished to a good standard. the doors fit flush and all panel gaps are straight and correct (see close up side photos). There is no rust showing anywhere on the paintwork and it looks very presentable however its not perfect and in my opinion the paintwork lacks a professional finish. The chrome work is in good condition. there is some age related pitting and a small dent on the left rear quarter bumper. The engine has been rebuilt. it shows excellent oil pressure and runs a constant temperature. The engine has been fitted with an unleaded head. electronic ignition. oil cooler and a full stainless steel exhaust. The carburettors have been balanced and tuned. the engine accelerates very well and the car feels quick. There are no issues with the gearbox. suspension or rear axle and the brakes pull the car up as expected. The car was fully serviced last week. it has a new MOT and passed without any advisories. The interior looks in good original condition. so is the hood and hood cover. all dashboard dials. gauges and switches work correctly and in the boot there is a spare wire wheel. jack and hammer.

The MOT is valid until 3rd July 2014 and its taxed until the end of August (road tax is free). I have the full vehicle registration document (V5). the chassis and engine numbers match the car. there have been four previous owners. last keeper change May 2000. All photos were taken on 02/07/13.
