Classic Mini 1993 1275

This is a very reluctant sale of 'Milo' my 1993 Mini. up for sale due to requiring a modern diesel car for work commitments. Since purchasing freshly restored 2 years ago he has been well looked after and loved. Used as a daily driver for the past 2 years and will continue until sold so miles will be increasing slight currently 67438. Full 12 months MOT.

I purchased the car freshly restored from the previous owner before me below I have included the original advert from the sale to show the amount of work that was done to the car just 2 short years ago.

Classic Mini. professionally rebuilt

Hi. Welcome to the sale of my classic mini. This is a beautiful little example of a classic British legend.
I have over 20 years experience with mini's and have restored several over the years. I came across this one just locally.
The previous owner had taken it off the road back in 2002 (I think) with the intention of replacing the wings and front panel.
He had removed said panels then lost interest. and the car had sat in his garage ever since.

I stripped the shell down and found it to be in pretty solid shape. An over-sill had been fitted to one side. I removed
this and re-fitted the correct panel. (the over-sills just trap moisture behind them and promote corrosion).
I replaced the other outer sill too. as it was just starting to go. New wings and front panel were fitted. all of which were correctly fitted with care and accuracy. (I have seen some awfully patched up minis out there labeled as restored. each project I do I do with the aim of it being better than the last. or I'm not satisfied!) Any other spots of corrosion have been cut out and replaced with new steel work.

New panels were all etch primed for rust prevention and painted with 2 k paint. The underside of the car has been stone chipped and painted as can be seen from the pics. I have also rust proofed inside the sills and other cavities.
All the suspension has been stripped and rebuilt. replacing any worn components.

I have a few hundred pics covering the rebuild from start to finish.

Professionally painted in 2 K in the cars original flame red.

New 5 x 12 Minilife alloy wheels with new tires.

New brake cylinders at rear and overhauled calipers on the front.

New steel braided brake hoses.

New brake discs.

Front and rear sub-frame. suspension components and hubs powder coated gloss black.

A new headlining has been fitted.

New ball joints.

Also there's heaps of history with the car. loads of old mot's and service recites.

I fitted a set of Hi-los also so the ride height can easily be tweaked to your preference.

Up-rated Poly sub-frame and suspension bushings and mounts used also throughout the car.
