Due to moving in August. I have no choice but to sell my special 1973 BMW 2002 Classic Car.
I brought this car on the 10/11/2011. The car's body work was in a poor state. rust everywhere !! Must of been left outside.
After one week of ownership I sent her off for a full respray. original Chamonix White. Great colour that's back in fashion.
All interior was removed and cleaned. treated and repaired. Interior floor and rear seat area was sanded and painted with 4 coats of anti corrosion paint. New underlay fitted and carpet and interior put back in. New front door cards fitted.
Head was removed in June 2012 and had the following done: Surface grind. Reface valve seats. Reface valves. Supply and fit Valve guides. Gaskets and bolt set. welding. Remove broken stud and Spark plug heilcoil. Whilst head was removed. engine bay was painted. Engine and component parts was cleaned. painted and new parts added. Looks great !!!!!

Engine runs great and smooth gearbox.

Three quarters of chrome parts are new.

Original AM/FM radio imported from Germany. all working
Complete new roof and hood bag fitted only 4 weeks ago. Too much to list. Lots of money has gone into this very rare car to return it back to its original condition. Some minor scratches on some of the chrome fittings.
Between January and July 1973 there where only 260 right hand drive convertibles produced. This one was built January 17 th number 25.
I think I was told that there are only 34 right hand drive round rear lights available. don't know how many are derivable ? If anyone knows the facts please let me know. Hard to find one like this.
