Only 18K Original Miles - All Original Interior - WOW!

This is a beautiful. unmolested 1940 Oldsmobile Series 90 Custom 8 Cruiser Touring Sedan with Hydra-matic Drive. It was the first and only GM car with this option. This is the best original that we have found in years. It has all original glass with 1951-1952 Inspection stickers and a Quaker State grease sticker from May 25. 1948. The tools and jack still have instructions tied to them. This Olds shared the same body with the 1940 Cadillac. It shows only 18K believed to be original miles on it and it shows. The interior is in mint original condition and backs up the low original miles. You can still see the tape that held the body mounts on when going down the assembly line. One of the reasons this car was kept so unmolested and pristine is because it spent many years on an Oldsmobile dealers showroom floor. Don't snooze and loose on this one!!!

It has only been painted once several years ago. The paint job is beautiful and has been done the right way and sanded to a smooth finish. She has always been well maintained not only cosmetically. but mechanically also. All the chrome and trim on this car has been completely redone and in excellent condition. This car was kept inside and treated. as a true Collector Car should be! The car is completely rust free and solid as a rock. It is super straight down the sides. It has a beautiful totally all original Broadcloth interior in it right down to the floors mats and carpet that looks amazing! Everything works in the car. All the chrome and trim on the dash is bright and clean. The dash is excellent but the steering wheel has a few small cracks. Inside the trunk is all original with its original spare and jack.

Mechanically. the engine and transmission run flawlessly! This Olds drives with no issues at all! The car fires right up and runs as it was new. Driving down the road there are no squeaks or rattles and that's wonderful coming from a 70 plus year old car. The engine compartment is all stock and original! The car is an absolute pleasure to drive. Fire her up and she's ready to cruise.

At Close of Auction

All Arizona Buyers must pay 7. 3% sales tax!

The parties agree that this contract shall be construed under the substantive laws of the state of Arizona . that the state courts of Arizona shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any action brought to enforce the terms of this contract or over any action arising out of the underlying transaction (s) with seller and venue may be had in the Maricopa County Superior Court of the state of Arizona .
