1976 XX 7 HX Sandman GTS Ute
This is a very regretful sale but due to a change in circumstance I am offering my rare as hens teeth Holden Sandman Ute for sale. This is a classic icon of the 70's Aussie beach culture and now a highly desirable and extremely rare muscle car.
Chassis # matches ID tags. Melbourne built. Delivered new by Citystate Motors Adelaide 10/1976.
Left the factory in Manderin Red with Slate Black trim (arguably the best combo) 253 4-speed with 3. 08 diff (Sorry. I don't have the original motor) & all the GTS options!
Now has a worked & recently rebuilt 308 (approx 220 RWHp). beefed up trimatic with Quicksilver shifter and 2. 78 ratio diff. Twin thermo fans. new radiator and front suspension. Great exhaust note with extractors. Power steering. All GTS gauges work well (not clock but can have this repaired easily). CD player. Very strong and reliable ute.
Fully street registered in WA.
Professionally repainted in the original Manderin Red by previous owner approximately 7 years ago. Absolutely no rust or filler anywhere and the bodywork is straight as an arrow. Paint is bright and excellent. Interior trim is very neat. Tray area unmarked.

The Holden Historical Services report (see image) confirming this is a Sandman. will be provided as part of the sale.
To be sold with the rest of the Sandman decal kit (will have them fit professionally for new owner).
Inspections are welcome by appointment ute located 10 mins from Perth city. A

I will also be listing my 1973 factory V 8 HQ Belmont Windowless Panel Van for sale. Registered. drives well. Has injected 304 V 8 5-speed manual conversion. GTS everthing. Paint and body suit daily driver or excellent candidate for easy restoration. Keep an eye out for the listing if you are interested in a very rare HQ V 8 van.
