With regret. I am selling my 1974 Toyota FJ45 Land Cruiser due to the loss of workshop come the end of August.
I imported it personally from Brisbane Australia in May this year from a farm in Kilcoy Queesland. it has spent all of its life on the same Deere farm and was only registered to go on the road last year in Austrailia. it had some $3000 spent on it to bring it back to being road worthy again.  I was told to assume the Kilometer reading at 26. 00 could possibly be the correct distance covered from new due to it being registered agricultural. and being one of many Land Cruisers they owned. But I cant verify that as 100%. but it runs really well. so maybe its true.
It is rust free. of course it has surface browning from being baked in sunshine for the last 39 years. bur the cab. chassis and running gear are rust free. The interior is complete. but the seats need new vinyl covers. the foam underneath is in good shape as it had seat covers fitted which I removed as I was being nosey and wanted too see the original seats.
The body work has some light dents from stones. nothing significant. no panels require replacement at all. below both doors have a few stone dents. and both front mudguards have small dents. but are easily repaired.
The engine is numbers matching. and starts and runs 100%.

I put it in for a MOT in May. and passed with an advisory of two steering ball joints having slight play. otherwise its all good. all lights. everything works as it should.
I was going to strip the cab down and get it galvanized and resprayed in the same colour. paint the chassis in POR15. get the interior recovered and show it. as well as being happy that these Toyota FJ45's are incredibly rare in Europe. especially ones with the original engine. restored FJ45's can fetch up to £15-20k. but this FJ45 is so honest  I would have loved to have kept it. but I cant.
All the import duties are paid. its got a MOT. so its just waiting to be registered in the UK. I have the AU registration doc. witch matches both VIN plate and engine block number
I welcome viewing. my number is 07818 423563
Overall its an easy restoration to put it looking like new again. or matt lacquer it and use as it. but only in the sunshine though. as its never seen the rain before!
I wont let this go cheap. this FJ is too honest. requiring a simple restoration to make something truly rare and interesting. but I do want a TVR.
