 Hi. selling for a friend.

I have a 1942 built Canadian pattern 970A in excellent restored condition for sale which is in good running order with no problems.
It also has a discretely fitted LPG conversion which enables this vehicle to run very economically without any loss of performance.
This particular long wheel base model was ordered by the Canadian military for transporting their Bailey Bridging equipment. They ordered approx. 1500 at a cash price of 5000 CAD each.
This model is more unique than the 986 because of the limited production run and also many were utilised for civilian use after the war was over. so there are not so many still in existence.
Apart from the extended wheel base they are identical to the 986. but they have the open type cab as per the illustrations attached.
You are more than welcome to come to look and try the vehicle and I am sure you will find it to your liking and is ready for exhibition.
The vehicle is located in Hereford-UK for who is interested to come and have a look.
