1969 vauxhall viva 4dr look rare!

Here very reluctantly for sale is RAY. very well known in the Vauxhall Viva owners club circuit. He has just 38060 miles on the clock. can be verified by the VVOC and has 5 owners in total including myself. I have had to think very hard about letting RAY go. he has done just 58 miles in 7 months and he sits in the garage craving someone to love and show him off. I said i would never part with him but lifestyle changes see me down the coast most weekends and as i have a big dog he couldnt sit safely in the back as i would use him more often. The pictures say everything. he is in 1 st class condition only ever having 2 minute plates welded at some time in the past in the foot well area. If you google the number plate you can get up pictures of when RAY had his wings done. to a very high standard too! He is a dream to drive. better to drive than most modern cars even though he doesnt have power steering etc etc. In my ownership he has wanted for nothing he has been kept well covered in winter and only been wet once when a storm caught me out at the coast. I fitted a period clarion cassette player and speakers which works. everything in fact works although the petrol gauge doesnt always move until about half a tank has arrived. He has a full tank of petrol ready for his new owner. i have many new parts too including points. plugs. condensor. rotor arms. fan belt etc etc all handy if your going to show him. The period radio and picnic boxes and the nodding dogs arent included. but there is a notice board for shows. a warning triangle and fire extinguisher in the boot. He has done just 12 miles since his mot on 22 nd april and is advisory free as he was last year. He has mint seats. door cards and carpets. there is no rust needing doing nor is there any showing. I would suggest that on the inside of the door frames a small amount of touching up with a small paintbrush just to be picky. but thats me! Otherwise. hes ready to roll. all good tyres starts 1 st time and looks the part. Any questions please ask. but be sensible as ive covered everything and added many pictures. Collection from any local station also might be possible i work mon-fri 8 am to 5 pm. but available anytime outside these hours with some sensibility. To finalise. ive seen a lot of vivas at the Billing shows and whilst RAY isnt the best. i would rate him in the top 10 without any doubts. 2 sets of keys. locking petrol cap. and very sorry to have to let him go! Number plate valued at £1500 alone and is original. would hope new owner doesnt sell the number plate!
