1970 MG MGB GT for sale
Current customer rating:
1970 MGB GT. split rear bumper. Vehicle located in Tacoma. Washington area. Vehicle has been in the area since the 1990 s and I purchased it in 2014. Speedometer was seized when I bought it so mileage is unknown.
Odometer currently reads 50. 00 miles.
Repairs completed since 2014: Carbs rebuilt. speedometer rebuilt with new cable. manual choke repaired. aluminum hood repainted. rear quarter panel dent repair and repainted.
Rust free vehicle. stored in a garage and not driven during the winter/rainy season.
Roads are not salted in the winter in the Tacoma. WA area.
Great driver quality GT that has no trouble keeping up with traffic on the highway. Performance cams installed by a previous owner. Rare accessory center console with auxiliary gauges. Aftermarket sunroof has been installed but it is period correct.
Known issues: Interior dome light not working. high beams do not work. bend/dent in front lower splitter (seen in pictures). small chip in windshield. paint is older with small chips on door edge. drivers window rubber seals are worn (no leaks).
Bottom line: Great starter classic vehicle that is in good running condition and is fun to drive.
It has never left me stranded or broken down when driving.
It would be a great vehicle to completely restore or keep as is and fix small issues as they arise (it is a 46 year old British sports car after all).
Additional notes: - No warranty offered or implied - If shipping is required. this is to be arranged by the buyer
Thank you for looking.
