For sale is my damaged Datsun 1200 track car.  The front left corner is badly bent. but apart from the shell very little is damaged.  Before the unfortunate wheel (mis)alignment I have enjoyed this simple. fun car for many years.  Not massive power but handled a dream - Phillip Island 2:04; Sandown 1:37; Winton 1:48
Engine:A15 - big oval port head with twin 40DCOE carbies.  Mitsubishi electronic distributor.  Fully balanced. ight flywheel etc. and still running strongly.  The sump got bent by the sway bar - another one supplied
Running Gear:Standard 1200 gearbox; standard open diff (3. 9 I think).  13x6 mags with A048's in fair condition.
Suspension and BrakesFront struts are Datsun (I understand 240K) with plenty of disc and pad size. Stiff. low springs and whiteline bar.  Rear is lowered leaf springs with tramp arms.  Rear brakes standard drums.  All shocks good. Braided brake lines and twin master cylinder setup
Inside is fully stripped out.  Bolt together full cage.  Simple dash with all the gauges and switches needed.  The seats and belts and fire extinguisher will NOT go with the car.
With the right skills it could be repaired or a spare shell would get it back on the track.  I have spare panels (not great but adequate) and if needed a spare ute front end (very rusty) which can go with the car.  I do not have the time and need to clear the space.
I'd started work and taken the engine out.  I prefer it to go complete. but if it doesn't sell this time I will break it down and sell parts. so if you are interested in that. end me a message and I'll get in touch but any bid buys the car.
