Rare 1985 Porsche 928 S Euro-5 speed-No sunroof

The car has been repainted in its original Prussian blue. There are a few small imperfections from normal wear and tear.

Our "engine out" rebuild included a fresh valve job. new head gaskets. fresh powder coated intake in Porsche Silver. re-plated hardware and all new gaskets and silicone seals on the cam towers and the oil pan. New motor mounts have been installed. the drive shaft has been inspected and properly torqued.

The original short block was replaced with a same year 1985 4. 7 Liter M 28/22 Euro short block. This Euro engine runs strong with its factory quoted 310 HP.

The work also included a new clutch. TOB. pilot bearing and bushing. New Greg Brown lifetime flex line to the clutch slave cylinder. a fresh timing belt. rebuilt tensioner. new Laso plastic impeller water pump and new pulleys. new oil cooler lines. and oil sender. new Greg Brown fuel lines. new aluminum radiator with Zerex G-05 coolant. a new factory hood pad was installed along with a Jerry Feather custom cowl panel.

New solid Derlin rack bushings and new rack boots. fresh Valvoline 20 W 50 Racing oil and filter installed

We topped everything off with a new AC compressor. new AC flex lines. "O" rings and drier. This AC is cold!

This engine compartment looks as good as it did in 1985!

Silver coated headers feed into a stainless Borla exhaust system creating the finest of German V 8 acoustics. The system is quiet at idle and does not drone at speed.

The 5 speed transmission shifts great with a custom short shifter and new lifetime front ball coupling linkage.

A $15 K interior refresh includes:
Pod. shifter boot. dash/console and front seats all recovered in soft supple black and gray leather all new white carpets and new custom black and gray door panels make for a stunning. inviting interior.

Finally. Dynamat sound absorbing liner has been added to the doors and floors making this a very quiet running machine!

Other improvements include:
Eibach springs with Bilstien shocks for a smooth and connected feel new blue line to the clutch master a complete braking system refresh includes new ATE brake booster and master cylinder and new stainless steel flex lines topped off with ATE gold fluid 17 inch GTS cup 2 wheels brand new Momo leather sport steering wheel (original steering wheel included) H 4 Euro headlights and LED bulbs in the dash pod.

The car also has a new spare tire and complete Porsche tool kit.

This is a beautiful. fully sorted machine and is ready to drive.

All systems function as they should and this car will provide many years of great motoring.
