Ive owned this car since 1984 drove it regularly until late 80`s then took it off the road to have rust removed this required new quarters . panel below rear screen . new inner and outer front fenders . door skins and front nose sheet metal . All done very professionally and painted the original colour . Whole car was Waxoyled . It has a new vinyl roof fitted and new screens . Its an original numbers matching car . always had the same nose . It has the origal 300 hp 4 bolt 350 . now rebuilt with Trick Flow heads . new pistons . cam . bearings etc . I still have its original heads . It runs a TH 350 and 12 bolt posi . both of which have new oil and filter in the gearbox . No need for rebuilding as they work faultlessly . I have a set of 70`s Z 28 wheels that will go with the car also the trunk and nose cone spoiler .
All that needs to be done is refit the seats . door panels . chrome trims . hood . air filter . badges and o good clean to remove all the accumulated dirt . I had a new ss exhaust fitted a couple of months ago . It really doesnt need much doing to it to make one of the best second generations around .
Its either a case for me to sell it as it is or finish it and ask a little more . I would like to sell as is and use the money to buy a late C 5 or early C 6 . ive other cars which need to be finished and im getting a bit pissed off seeing all these cars just sitting doing nothing .
