I'm selling my 1971 JEEP CJ 5 because I need a work truck for my business. I hope someone who will have fun with this jeep will be the winning bidder.
This is the last year that KAISER made them before they went to American Motor co. Many people say that the 71 cj 5 is one of the greats.
PROS:• 225 cu in Buick (3. 7 L) Dauntless V 6• 4 spd. transmission with a granny low • Super Swamper Tires• Brand new fender flares(not installed)• Brand new LED taillights(not installed)• This CJ 5 has been professionally lifted. lockers . 456 gearing. MOSER axels. heavy duty front and rear bumpers. • The underside of the body has heavy gauge steel reinforcement. • She fires up every single time. I love the way the Buick motor sounds coming out of the side pipes. The Jeep could climb straight up a wall.
CONS:
• Small rust bubbles
• No back seat. • No spare tire. • No front tow bar. (The seat. spare tire and tow bar are still in the possession of the previous owner. He has not delivered them to me as of yet and I have been trying to get ahold of him for months now. Not included in sale unless he shows up with parts before auction ends).
