1939 Chrysler New Yorker

Selling this beautiful 77 year old suicide door New Yorker that I bought from a family that were big horse racers and this was one of his vintage cars in his collection when he passed. It has been stored in a nice shop for years and I recently got it running great and cleaned it up. This car has a really nice straight solid body and the lines match up nice. The interior could use new upholstery and then it would be a really nice car and there is new carpet still in the box I guess he was gonna install but never did. This car has a factory 8 cylinder motor that runs great and only shows 46. 25 on the speedometer which is extremely low and really only could use a new muffler and you should be good. The transmission and clutch work great. The brakes should be gone thru just from sitting up I don't trust wheel cylinders and brake hoses to be cruising down the highway but that's a easy and cheap fix. There is still all the original paperwork and some receipts and warranty info inside the car which is pretty neat to still have and the original spare in the trunk. All the lights work fine and the bumpers are extremely straight. The only spots on the body that could use fixed if you were gonna repaint it would be a little dent on the rear passenger fender that could be popped out easy and a few little bubbles above the very back side drivers window up by the drip rail but it looks to be easy to fix before it gets bad and could be just the paint bubbled up I don't know. most people would never see it. The floors look good and trunk pan as well. I have a clear Idaho title for this car. I thought this would make a really nice car for someone in the wedding venue. intage taxi or photography business to use and would also be a good tax right off for your business. Overall this Chrysler is in good shape and runs good to and will make someone a really cool. are. and unique car that with just the little touches could be a really nice expensive car to use for all occations.
