This vehicle was featured in an article in Practical Classics some time ago and was used a few years ago as a prop in the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Since the death of it's restorer 4 years ago it has been virtually unused and it is now time for it to go to a new home.
Although declared manufactured in 1942 it was registered in 1996 and therefore requires an MOT which is current and expires next August.
Obviously since it is now 20 years since the restoration it is not immaculate and has a few minor paint blemishes the worst of which is to the leading edge of the bonnet. This was damaged in an argument with a fence post [which lost]. It has been repaired but the paint match is not all it could be. Personally I prefer a Jeep to look like it has been used i. e. not too shiny.
The trailer in the pictures will be included if the full asking price is met. It is not a WW 2 item but has been modified to give the correct appearance and takes standard Jeep wheels. It will need some basic renovation as due to lack of storage it has been lying outside for several years.
