ROVER 100 P 4 1961
Here we have a lovely example of the renowned Rover P 4 model so popular when new with bank managers. doctors and the like. The 100 is regarded by many as the ultimate P 4 with its smooth 6 cylinder engine. overdrive and front disc brakes.
This example is finished in the very attractive duo tone combination of medium grey over storm grey with red leather upholstery.
It is a car which has clearly been cherished throughout its history.
The paintwork is in excellent condition with no signs of previous repairs or fading.
Chromework is also to the same very high standard.
Interior leatherwork is original. still lovely and supple with a nice aged patina of fifty five years of gentle use.
Carpets are also the original ones which show light wear only.
Five previous owners are recorded. A new speedometer was fitted in the latter part of 2015 and the mileage now displays approx. 600 miles. previous Mots indicate a mileage of around the 74. 00 miles mark.
A period sun visor is fitted. the car comes with the original ace chrome wheel embellishers. which were a period Rover optional extra. and hmv (his masters voice) radio . There is a full compliment of the correct boot tools. a complete under dash tool tray and two sets of keys.
In the history file are many previous Mots. bills for ongoing maintenance. and the V 5 C .
The current MOT is valid until March 2017 with no advisories. and is road tax exempt.
The previous owner used the car sparingly. mainly for attending Rover P 4 Guild rallies and meetings of which he is a member. He has now purchased a Rover P 5 B and I am selling the vehicle on his behalf.

this car has been in my ownership since September 2016.
during this time it has won awards from both the P4 Drivers guild and the Rover Sports register, and is definitely not for sale, do not know why the add is still on view
