1966 Morris Minor original convertible. 1275CC (Cooper S Oselli engine).  Electronic ignition with Toyota T50 five speed gear box. New timing chain. up-rated Ford Escort Front Disc Brakes.  Owen Burton anti-roll bar. New Fuel pump recently fitted.
95. 00 miles estimated 35. 00 with the new engine. Old English white. rust free. excellent condition. Red vinyl soft top with red vinyl interior.  Tax free. MOT valid until May 2017.

Engine rebuilt by James to 1293 Fast Road Spec. Engine number: 12V639 ELZ 145230 (1275cc).
Rocker shaft - new. nbsp;strengthened by thicker steel and tufftrided. (Reduction in internal dia oil feed immaterial under racing experience). Rockers - new. Valve Springs - new. double. Valves - new from single steel billet. Inlet 1. 406”.  Exh 1. 156”. Head - ported and polished to OE62 rally spec. Extra bolt drilled for attachment to block.
Cylinders - bored to +. 20” (1293cc).  Platcau hone finished. Pistons - Cooper S. Gudgeon small ends - new. Push fit on conrod. Swivel in pistons. Conrods - original. shot peaned and oil spray holes on shoulders checked. Camshaft - new A266 (one move softer than spec A600 but more refined). Bearings -new race spec main. big end and thrust. Fit steel centre main bearing strap. Crank - ground. tufftrided. straightened and balanced. Timing chain - new duplex and sprockets. Self adjusting. MM Brum. Engine plate (front) - 1098 (to fit engine mounts). Engine plate (rear) - new. adapted Owen Burton. Oil seal scroll - Owen Burton. Flywheel - from 1098. lightened Owen Burton. Oil Pump - new high capacity. valve and spring. Timing cover - adapt breather tube.
Timing set up and flywheel notched on cyl 4 TDC. Balanced from damper to clutch. crankshaft to pistons - all moving parts. Engine acid bathed. cleaned out. rinsed with core plugs (incl oil gallery plugs) removed. Exterior painted in non-BMC olive green. Tappet clearances etched on. Oselli plaque on rocker cover.
Clutch - plate came with gearbox. Cover plus heavy duty springs Charles Ware. Gearbox - Toyota T50. Diff - new 3. 9. MM Brum. Half shafts - hardened replacements Charles Ware.
Carb - HIF 44  1. 75”. rebuilt with BDL needle. Air Filter - K&N with stub stack. Exhaust - 3 down pipe. 2 box. SS.
Electrics:  Alternator. Coil - standard. Plugs - BP6ES. Distributor - number 41854B 59D4 - 4982. Magnetron electronic MTK 007. Cap number DDB 108. Vacuum number 4 12 8 - 544214113.
Chassis : Brakes (front) - disc (Escort) numbers BD 4844/952190/FR251V. Owen Burton. Brakes (rear) - standard. Brake servo - front brakes only. Lockheed. Hydraulic reservoir stand-alone on bulkhead. Telescopic dampers front and rear. Sachs Super 112 188. Owen Burton. Anti-roll bar front. Owen Burton. Radius arms rear. Owen Burton. 4. 5” wheels with 1. 55x14 Michelin.  (Spare 4” wheel 1. 45x14). Instruments - standard plus rev counter. water temp. oil pressure and amps. Gower Oaks.
