Original factory convertible. fully restored to a very high (show winning) standard. Freshly restored finished in 2016.

The shell was completely stripped of every nut and bolt. then any rust areas were made good with new panels - many hand crafted to replicate exact factory pressings. Fully shot blasted and then etch primed. high build primed and then solid coat in original BMC Smoke Grey.


The 1098cc engine was fully stripped and re-built with all new internals. Externally was stripped and re-built with all new serviceable items. carb re-built and everything mirror polished or mirror shine painted.

The suspension and running gear was fully stripped; shot blasted. all serviceable parts replaced. new Polly bushes. and re-assembled once everything was painted in gloss. The underside of the entire car has been painted in special polly chassis paint colour mixed to Smoke Grey the same as the body colour of the car.

The fuel tank. fuel pipe and pump is all new. Brakes have all new pipes. braided stainless-steel hoses. cylinders. shoes and drums.

All rubbers on the car have been replaced.

The interior is all new. with new seat paddings and newly upholstered seats. new carpets door cards etc. The seat frames were stripped and received a fresh coat of Old English White paint.

The hood frame is original. shot blasted. zinc coated and then gloss Old English White applied. and then trimmed with a Mohair hood and hood bag (the best available).


Everything on this car been restored where possible and where not possible it has been replaced with new.
To have a car restored to this standard by a professional garage would cost you in the region of £25. 00.

Is your Minor still available?
Looking for this RHD convertible model , I would be interested in yours and I would like to ask several first questions if still available .
- is it a genuine factory convertible?
- How does its engine run? oil pressure/ starting.... is it able to return to Normandy/France by drive?
- Do you have pictures about the underbody? is it rust free? paintwork was also repainted 4 years ago?
- what are the main fitted upgrades? disc brakes? brake servo? anti-roll bar....

Living in Normandy close Dieppe, I plan to drive to UK as soon as the authorities remove the restrictive measures linked to covid. Where is the car in UK?
My wish is twofold: to buy a RHD genuine convertible minor to organize weddings for my job but also to drive my family for a ride in an classic English car.
I've already bought a MG (1961) in UK 2 years ago but I do need 4 seats in my next classic car .
