1968 was a major redesign. chrome front bumpers were no more unless you were one of the very few to select the Endura bumper delete option.

This would be the last year for the vent windows that everyone loves and misses.

Motor Trend awarded the GTO "Car of the Year" in 1968 and sales surpassed 1967 by roughly 6. 00 units.

This GTO is painted in a great shade of blue metallic and is just over year old.

The interior is standard black vinyl and finished off with a black soft top.

Pontiac Rally wheels wrapped in radial rubber give the car that great muscle car look.

Power comes from a 400 cubic inch V 8 and the transmission is a TH-400 with a His and Her shifter and back to a 12 bolt rear end housing 3. 55 gears with posi-traction.

Equipment consist of an AM radio with 8-track player. power top. power brakes. power steering with a tilt steering column. shoulder belts. covered headlights. carpeted trunk and a hood mounted tachometer.
