1975 OPEL KADETT COUPE for sale

Up for sale is this beautifully restored Opel Kadett Coupe C GT/E from 1975. It has had some modifications including the following: 'Bad Boy' bonnet. C 2 front end. IPF 130 w driving lamps. later Kadett GTE front Recaro seats with orange Blitz logo. suede Momo steering wheel. modern ATS Classic alloys shod with Kumho medium compound tyres. The car is also fitteed with a vehicle tracker. The engine is a modified CN 24 e 2. 4 litre with fast road cam and lightened flywheel and upgraded Irmscher fuel intake kit. BHP was declared in Germany as 107 kw or 143 bhp-although the previous owner said it was a little more!
It has the usual GT/E running gear 75% ltd slip rear diff. quick steering rack and panhard rod etc. Brakes have been uprated at the front with Rekord 2. 2 vented discs/calipers and braided hoses. rear brakes are standard GT/E drums.
It was fitted with brand new Bilstein road/race suspension and new springs 2 yrs ago and handles really well with this set up. very little roll. (It's never been on the track but someone should take it out as it'd be a hoot!)
I've added an original front spoiler and taken the bumpers back to original black. The car is also fitted with a factory sunroof-a rare option and has previously had fitted the factory headlamp wash kit (I'm trying to get hold of the previous owner to see if he still has them).
I have a couple of spares for the car: new front windscreen. spare oil filters/oil etc. spare wheel and tyre. original manual and the original restoration photos from the previous owner.
Anything else? Mmm. probably forgot loads. but just to say that the car has never been wet apart from being washed and rained on during the photo shoot for Total Vauxhall the other year!
It took me 2 yrs to find an example this good and is difficult for me to sell on so no daft low ball offers. these are fast becoming rarer and rarer. The price reflects the level of investment I have in the car. Any inspection is welcome but no time wasters please. Non refundable deposit of £500 paid on completion of listing with balance in cash on collection within 7 days.
