The most popular of all these was the 396/350 known as the L 34. This Chevelle is just that. a real deal L 34 396 SS Chevelle. Originally an Autumn Gold car with black racing stripes this SS has had a complete and professional repaint to one of the most iconic color combinations. The red with black racing stripes is still probably the most recognizable muscle cars to leave Detroit. Not only does the red look amazing but it does an excellent job of showing off the round yet chiseled angles of the fastback inspired Chevelle. Open the door and you will notice the black fabric coated seats are gone. Replaced by the much more durable and comfortable black vinyl the interior is definitely period correct. The center console houses the iconic horse shoe shifter giving this SS a true sports car feels. Under the hood the iconic and powerful L 34 sets perfectly under the cowl hood. Matched up to the iconic TH 400 the shifts are nice and crisp just like they should be. The 12 bolt POSI rear end houses a 3. 31 gear set giving you a great balance between acceleration and highway cruising.
