Current customer rating:
A near complete. needing finishing project truck. Has had the body off the frame. all new mechanicals. including all brake lines. cylinders. shoes. hardware. etc. New shocks. new 6 lug chrome wheels with new tires. new front fenders. floors. step wells. lots of welding done to the body.
a 1971 250 six. with rebuilt head. new cam (comp) lifters. pushrods. oil pump. water pump and all seals and gaskets. new electronic ignition distributor. Has the V 8 crossmember added for side mount engines. New front fenders. new flipper windows. seats are from an Audi A 6. I have the switchgear to make power and heated. It's all there. not a show truck. but was planned to be a nice driver. Runs. drives. stops. needs work on the idle (rochester monojet) needs the fuel tank installed (I have it) and the rear wheel bearings installed (have them and the seals). Converted to roller front wheel bearings. manual shift 3 speed on the column. New clutch. turned flywheel. trans was rebuilt with new seals and gaskets. all linkage is intact. shifts great. Needs a new windshield.
This is a truck I worked on for about 7 years. lost interest. and I need the space before winter.
Needs details. and some finishing. but will make someone a fun vintage driver. It's all there - this was a rusty northeast truck. and it has had a lot of replacement panels welded in. but is not ready for a show quality finish. What you see is what you get! Vermont does not title vehicles this old. will be sold with bill of sale and a copy of prior registration in my name from 2016.
Truck also has a complete new wiring harness from Classic Industries installed.
