Due to circumstances beyond my control i am having to sell my pride and joy 1937 Standard flying 10 Rod running a 1. 8 Mazda Mx-5 130 bhp engine and running gear i built this to be used as my everyday vehicle so i went with the Mx-5 as a donor for it reliability and handling and i must say it does not disappoint at all lol. 600 miles since built. But due to my wifes health i have to buy a vehicle suitable to carry her wheelchair in so it has to go. it grabs a lot of interest at the shows. would take very little to turn into a full show vehicle perhaps a better paint job as im not the best at painting. the stereo is a single din cd head unit. e-handled with electric push button door locks
Brand new tyres x 4 less than 300 mile use

All steel body no fibreglass panels

This is an up and running reliable vehicle cheap to run and insure £150 fully comp mot/tax exempt

Hi Dean,

I guess the car has been sold as the ad is now quite old, I am thinking of doing a similar conversion on a Standard 8. Do you have any build photo's.
