1990 BMW 635CSi Highline for sale

This is a 1990 BMW 635 CSi Highline. finished in the most desirable combination of Lachs Silver and Black Leather. It is an Automatic having covered 134 k Miles but with the wear of a 50 k Mile car! It is in a very nice condition indeed. It has the desirable sports seats. Air Conditioning. sunroof and the desirable de-chroming pack.
The E 24 6 series was produced from 1976-1989 and was the replacement for the CS and CSL E 9 coupes. Like the E 9 coupes the early bodies of the 6 were manufactured by Karmann until production was moved in house by BMW. It was the proven E 12 5 series that provided the chassis and much of the mechanicals for the E 24. Dubbed the 'Bavarian Ferrari' the 6 series was a high end two door luxury sports coupe.
The original 630 CS was carbureted and had a 4 speed gearbox. 1979 saw the end of the non-injection fuel systems and the introduction of computer fuel injection. The 635 CSI was not produced till 1978. a couple of years after the introduction of the E 24 chassis. the 3. 5 engine was then improved on again in 1982 when the model received an improved interior and slight exterior modifications.
There are 21 stamps in the service book showing the mileage as correct but there are no recent invoices for service work carried out due to a period in a private collection. The car has an MOT until OCtober 2013 and drives very nicely indeed. This is a great car in the perfect colour scheme and is ready for its next home. The prices of these E 24's are on the rise and these last Highline cars are the most desirable of them all.
