1973 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series

This is an exceptional. unmolested. totally original 1973 Mercedes 300 SEL 4. 5 that is in truly remarkable condition. Finished in Scot Pine Metallic paintwork and Moss Green leather it's condition is beyond belief with the odometer (which works) showing 53 K which I believe is true. The interior is amazing. no rips or tears anywhere including the headliner. the body is straight. solid and absolutely no rust. the chrome is excellent. the air suspension working as if new with no premature dropping or sagging. electrics working including sunroof. cold blowing a/c. woods exceptional apart from the windshield surround where the varnish/laquer is peeling (the veneer is not damaged). sliding heat controls are original and work and undamaged. carpets are original and excellent. drives beautifully with smooth changing gears. After sitting in dry storage for some time the paintwork which is original from new has broken down and will need repainting. I have not painted the car as I wanted the new owner to marvel at how solid. honest. totally rust-free and straight the bodywork is which I hope the photos show. I purchased this car a year or so ago as an investment opportunity but personal circumstances have changed and therefore am selling the car. I have tried to list all the components and their condition below but if I have omitted anything you wish to know about please let me know.

I cannot overstate how well preserved and maintained this car is. the breathtaking condition simply defies its age. I have the original owners title to the car but have registered it in my name here in Georgia. The reserve has been set realistically and wish you luck in the bidding.
