Early 1947 GMC heavy half ton. stake-side truck. has 235 ci engine and 4 speed transmission. - All body parts are original with no rust. - New clutch and pressure plate installed. - All driveshaft u joints replaced. - Running gear. steering and suspension is original and tight. - Original 6 volt system was converted to 12 volt. - Woodwork for the stake-side and deck is eastern maple hardwood redone to original. - All glass and rubber mouldings replaced. - Body bolts & nuts are replaced with stainless steel. - I purchased in 1982 at Omak Washington. - This truck is mint inside and out. Everything possible was replaced to new condition. - A trailer hitch was installed with bolts and can be removed easily. - Latest body-off restoration completed in 2012.
