1969 E Type Jaguar Series 2 Coupe
Please note this car is a fixed head coupe and not the less desirable and less valuable 2+2 model. I can convert the factory fitted rare chrome plated steel wheels to chrome wires if preferred.
This is a very original. matching numbers rust free car that looks superb. is in great condition and drives very well. It is finished in white with a dark blue interior. The body is very straight with great panel fit and gaps. The paint is smooth and shining but with some minor chips here and there. The dark blue interior is in very good condition and appears to be entirely original. The car has spent its life in the dry states of America and as such is rust free. The first owner took delivery on 19th of December 1969 in Los Angeles. California. The original owner's handbook and service book are still with the car with 5 services recorded. The car was subsequently acquired by a gentleman in Albuquerque. New Mexico. He subsequently sold it to his brother in 1988. The Bill of Sale shows the mileage as 53. 00 miles at that time. The last owner. who resided in San Antonio. Texas acquired the car in 2009 with the mileage recorded as 56. 95 on his title application. The car has an extensive history file that documents a full engine rebuild in 1999 with photographs. and a full overhaul of the suspension. brakes and clutch. The car comes with a Jaguar heritage certificate with all numbers matching. It shows that the car was originally light blue with a dark blue interior. The original paint colour can be seen in the spare wheel well. I acquired the car directly from the last owner in May this year and brought it to the UK. The car is showing 65. 13 miles.
The lights have been converted to European standards and the car has an MOT until August 2017. All import taxes have been paid and the car is ready to be registered in the UK which I can carry out on your behalf.
