I recently converted a Perfect 1974 - 914 that I had bought in 1995 from it's original owner & my best friend with only 32. 00 miles on it. Using my 2. 4 L 147 hp 6 cyl I then completely rebuilt this near perfect 914 body by using all my previously wrecked 1972 914-6 using the unhurt running gear. I rebuilt the running gear. suspension with all new bushings & bearings & 914-6 brakes & five lug 914-6 hubs & I had my 1972 2. 4 liter European 914-6 rebuilt by a certified Porsche mechanic using new parts including flywheel & clutch & racing headers & new muffler & New set of 7" x 15" Fuchs & had all my 72 gauges refurbished by V.
